About Us

Design That Works is a consulting firm devoted to creating healthy, safe environments - free of toxins and barriers for all people.

We specialize in designing healthy, adaptable housing by providing accessible equipment and safe products as needed for those with limitations due to age, illness or injury and for those who want to create a healthier living environment.

We work on residential and commercial projects involving the interior and exterior of the building as well as landscape, parks and playground areas.

Our Vision

Our vision is to provide the knowledge, expertise and innovative designs to implement the principles of Universal, Accessible, and Green Design in new construction and in modifications of residential and commercial facilities. We believe that education stimulates the process of awareness. Design that Works provides educational seminars to the community, architectural, building and health care providers.

Everyone should be given the opportunity to live, work, and play in safe, healthy environments as they access their home and community with dignity and ease. We want to empower our clients with the tools they need to live a healthier, more independent and productive lifestyle, while providing a safe and easier life for those who lovingly care for them.
